Support Kain Colter

Kain Colter is a senior Quarterback for Northwestern, and he recently had the idea of forming a players only union. This is a big deal because it could change college sports in a lot of ways.

If the NCAA recognizes that people around the world are supporting the players union, it could mean that the NCAA could consider paying the athletes.

Form a Parents Union

If some students are having to pay out of pocket for their athletic scholarship, that usually means the parents will have to pay more money to the university.

If the student-athletes parents form a union, it will benefit the palyers because it could possibly become a game changer towards paying college athletes. Parents would want to see their children making their own money as well.

Your Thoughts

I really want other people's thoughts about this topics. I want people to be comfortable in giving their opinion.

So I created a blog page so that people can post questions of the day, and others give their opinion on that question related to student-athletes compensation, amateur status, etc.

As a person that is really passionate about my topic, I really want the support of my fellow peers and others around world because this is a very controversal situation. It will allow the student-athletes to actually create a voice for themselves.
