After researching, many of college players are accepting improper benefits from boosters on campus, and thye also accept them from sports agents as well. The players are also selling their important memorabilia in order to have a good financial background while in college.
Athletic Scholarship Issues
The Universities and NCAA are really trying to exploit the football and basketball student-athletes of college sports. The NCAA will cover the full cost of scholarhips of student-athletes who are involved in other athletic programs: hockey, gymnastics, golf, baseball, lacrosse, etc. They will not cover the full cost of the athletic scholarships for student-athletes involved in college football and basketball.
A 6 billion Dollar Company
College basketball and football has made the NCAA a 6 billion dollar company. These two athletics programs gain the most attention from people all around the nation and from big name companies around the world.
